The Ferris wheel is a large, revolving mechanical building with a cockpit on the edge of the wheel for passengers to take. The passengers sit on the Ferris wheel and slowly turn up, overlooking the surroundings from a height. The most common Ferris wheel exists in amusement parks (or theme parks) and garden tours. The Ferris wheel is also often used alone in other occasions, usually as an active viewing platform.
